Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR), also known as Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), is an advanced and precise radiation therapy technique used in the treatment of cancer. It is designed to deliver highly focused and targeted radiation to tumors while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissues outside the brain. SABR has become an important tool in the fight against cancer because of its ability to deliver high doses of radiation precisely and effectively. It has revolutionized the treatment of certain cancers and has improved outcomes for many patients, particularly those with early-stage tumors or tumors that are difficult to reach with surgery and in metastatic diseases as well. Dr.Aswin underwent special training in SABR at University of North Midlands, Stoke on Trent as well as CLATTERBRIDGE cancer centre, Liverpool, UK for all sites of the body.
